Applications

  • We are now accepting applications for the PTSD Program (for people with symptoms of PTSD). Please read this page, then click on the "Apply Now" button at the bottom of this page.

  • Please note, if you wish to apply for the Brighten Your Mood Program (for Chinese-Australians with symptoms of depression, click here), otherwise, click on the "Apply Now" button at the bottom of this page.
  • We are not currently accepting applications for the Wellbeing Program, Anxiety Program, Sadness Program, the Worry Program, the Shyness Program, or the Panic Program. If you wish to be placed on the mailing list to be notified when applications for these future Programs will open, please register your interest via the "Contact Us" tab, above.

Important: Please Read Carefully Before You Apply

  1. Please make sure you meet the criteria before applying (see "About Our Treatment", above). Please note that during the course of the Program you cannot be receiving nor intend receiving Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from another service.

  2. If you apply we will ask you to answer questions about your symptoms of anxiety and mood. Please note that we CANNOT accept your application if your symptoms of depression are SEVERE, if you are suicidal or intend to self-harm, if you are taking Benzodiazepine medication, or if you have Bipolar or Schizophrenia. If these apply to you, please see your GP for advice. Please also note that you must be an Australian resident.

  3. If you have any serious physical symptoms such as heart problems or breathing difficulties, please only apply after you have been assessed by your GP or a specialist.

  4. The questionnaires will take about 20 minutes to complete. Once you have completed all the questionnaires you will receive an email confirming that we have received your application.

  5. If you have any questions before or after applying, please email us by pressing the "Contact Us" button, above.

  6. On the next page, please press the question marks (?) next to each question for more information.

  7. Please only apply if you are prepared to work on this Program for at least 4 hours each week (this will involve reading about and practicing new skills).

  8. Please follow our instructions carefully and respond to all emails or telephone calls within 48 hours. Please note that because we are a very small team (and we have very large waiting lists) if you do not respond to our requests within 48 hours we may delete your application without further notice (so that we can offer your place to another applicant).

  9. If your application is successful we will ask you to provide contact details for your GP (who we will only contact in the unlikely event of an emergency).
